Shop "She'll Wilt without Water"

"She'll Wilt without Water"

from $35.00

β€œShe’ll Wilt without Water” 11x14 inches/various sizes is a print edition created and produced using Lithography. Each print is original and uniquely pressed. This print design belongs to a series called β€œIf you know me, you dont know her”. The series was inspired by the need to express the daily inner conflicts I conceal from others. For this print, I wanted to address how female bodies in society get hyper sexuality and overly criticized. We’re not tangible objects. When we’re treated so; inevitably we will wear down without support, nurturance and love.

The Japanese paper option will vary in size as the paper is recycled from precious printing editions.

*PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO TO PROCESS OF PRINTING SMALL DIFFERENCES IN OPACITY MAY BE APPARENT*

Materials:

Japanese Paper White a light weight but durable material that is translucent and without undertones.
Cotton Rag White is a matte natural colour with a thicker weight, cool undertone.

I wrote a new blog post for the website that I'm really passionate about, mental health.

I've struggled since I was a teenager navigating life with a mental illness. There can be extremely hard days when it feels physically impossible to continue.
Thank you SO much to everyone who has reached out to me or interacted with my page and website over this weekend. This was a huge personal leap for me and I'm so grateful to be surrounded by so many encouraging people who supported me through it.
